We believe in a world where all menstruators feel supported

As women, we are expected to show up, even when we’re feeling our worst. We are expected to operate at the same level regardless of whether we are cramping, fatigued, bloating, and when our emotions are heightened.

Our experience is simply different from those who do not menstruate. We need to be ok in our natural bodies; without the added hormones and chemicals. We shouldn’t be ashamed because of our periods. We shouldn’t have to suppress our experiences during our periods. Reproductive health needs to be normalized so we can better show up in rooms that we have to be in. The system needs to better support women, starting by making menstruation products more accessible.

Here's to reclaiming our experience.

Mona Powell - Founder & CEO

Dotstash was born during a time when I was feeling extreme discomfort, pain, and frustration in my body. As founder of Dotstash, my goal is to promote menstrual equity by destigmatizing and normalizing the menstruation experience and making comfortable organic menstrual products accessible in public spaces.

I spent 14 years in the UC school system working on projects and programs related to wellness and sustainability including capital projects in physical spaces on campus. During my tenure, I led the AB367 implementation group for the Universities of California. One of my specialties is working with students in the social activism space and bringing them along during the solution-making process, as often these solutions happen in a vacuum.
